Managed Dedicated Servers


Freedom Internet Group can provide Managed Dedicated Servers for clients wanting to operate their hosting on an independant server(s) and direct connection to the Internet. We take responsibility for the server hardware and network connections and installation of the operating system and control panel (CentOS Linux and WHM / cPanel). Other operating systems and hosting control panels are available to be setup if required. After initial setup, Freedom Internet Group will provide ongoing support for the server hardware and network connections, standard monitoring of hardware and network and any additional services as required.


Dedicated Servers can be configured and made available within 2 business days in most cases and are priced according to CPU, Disk Space, Available Memory and Data Limits. All Dedicated Servers come with the following:

  1. 99.5% Network Service Level Agreement
  2. Operating System (CentOS Linux)
  3. 5 Static IP Addresses
  4. Hard Drives in Raid 1 (mirrored) configuration
  5. Standard Monitoring of Hardware and Network Connections
  6. All Prices are Inclusive of GST & in Australian Dollars

    Alert Reports will be sent via email at the start and end of unscheduled outages and every half hour for the duration of the unscheduled outage. Outages are not reported for scheduled events where notification of 24 hours or more has been given and for client initiated events such as server shut downs, restarts, configuration changes resulting in the server becoming unavailable to the general Internet. Monitoring checks are carried out on HTTP (Apache), Mail, SMTP and DNS services once per minute. Backup configuration incurs an additional cost for setting up - call for details.
