Most computers have a usable lifespan of between 2 to 4 years before they need replacing. This means that your computer can still be upgraded in the future to some degree in 12 to 18 months time (due to the ever changing hardware and software requirements, it is impossible to 100% future protect a computer even if the top of the line parts were used in a brand new computer). Where possible, we use high quality, reliable parts backed by long term manufacturer warranties (usually 3 years or limited lifetime warranties). All you need to do, is tell us what you want your computer to be capable of doing and a few basic specifications (we can work these out if you are not sure what these are) and let our technicans do the rest. The average upgrade usually costs between $150 to $400 inclusive of GST however some upgrades may cost significantly more depending on the parts required and the amount of work involved. Most upgrades are completed within 30 minutes to 2 hours subject to any software that needs to be reinstalled and most upgrades can be done onsite saving you the time and effort of unplugging the computer and dragging it into a shop when you could be doing something more important.
